Veterans of Westland

The Wayne Ford Civic League is proud to highlight the Veteran’s of Westland, a special program dedicated to supporting and honoring the men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces. Through the Veteran’s of Westland initiative, the Civic League works to connect local veterans with resources, services, and community engagement opportunities tailored to their unique needs and experiences. This includes providing information on VA benefits, job placement assistance, mental health support, and more. The Civic League also organizes regular social events and recognition ceremonies to celebrate the contributions of Westland’s veteran population. These gatherings allow veterans to come together, share their stories, and feel appreciated by their fellow community members. Together, we honor the sacrifices of our local heroes.
